Where to send written comments about the qualifications of applicants for judicial vacancies

Nominating commissions welcome written comments from the public about the qualifications of any judicial applicants. Comments concerning nominees to the supreme court or the court of appeals may be emailed to the members of the state judicial nominating commission. Previously-provided letters of recommendation or comments will not be considered by the Commission.

Comments concerning nominees to the district court may be submitted to one or more of the members of the appropriate district nominating commission. Comments concerning nominees for a magistrate, district associate judge, or associate juvenile judge vacancy may be submitted to one or more of the members of the appropriate magistrate appointing commission.
